Ingredients:

For the shrimp:

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Juice of 1/2 lime

For the avocado slaw:

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage (purple + green)

  • 1 ripe avocado, mashed

  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or mayo

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro

  • 1/2 tsp honey

  • Salt & pepper to taste

To serve:

  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas

  • Extra lime wedges

  • Chopped cilantro

  • Crumbled cotija or feta cheese (optional)

  • Hot sauce or chipotle mayo (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1: Marinate the Shrimp

Toss shrimp with olive oil, lime juice, paprika, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Step 2: Make the Avocado Slaw

Mash avocado in a bowl. Stir in yogurt, lime juice, cilantro, honey, salt, and pepper. Add shredded cabbage and mix until creamy.

Step 3: Cook the Shrimp

Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and slightly charred.

Step 4: Warm the Tortillas

Lightly toast or grill your tortillas until soft and pliable.
