Peach Green Tea Smoothie
The Perfect Blend of Sweet, Creamy & Caffeinated 🍑🍵
When the summer heat hits, I’m always on the lookout for something that’s both cool and energizing. That’s how this Peach Green Tea Smoothie became a staple in my morning routine. It’s sweet from juicy peaches and banana, creamy thanks to vanilla yogurt, and subtly energizing from a shot of chilled green tea. It’s basically sunshine in a glass—and I’ve made it more times than I can count while racing out the door or winding down after a walk in the sun.
What You’ll Need
• 1 cup frozen peaches
• 1/2 banana
• 1/2 cup brewed green tea (chilled)
• 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
• 1–2 tsp honey or agave (to taste)
How to Make a Peach Green Tea Smoothie
Start by brewing your favorite green tea. Let it cool completely—this is key for a smoothie that stays icy and fresh. I like to make mine the night before and keep it in the fridge.
2. Add Ingredients to the Blender
Combine frozen peaches, half a banana, the chilled green tea, vanilla yogurt, and a drizzle of honey or agave in your blender.
3. Blend Until Smooth
Blend on high until the mixture is creamy and smooth. If you want it thinner, add more tea. Want it colder? Toss in a few ice cubes.
4. Serve & Sip
Pour into a tall glass, garnish with a peach slice or sprig of mint, and enjoy! This smoothie is best served right away for the freshest taste.
Tips, Tricks & Delicious Variations
• Swap the vanilla yogurt for plain or dairy-free yogurt to suit your diet.
• Add a handful of spinach for a green boost—you won’t even taste it.
• Use white tea or matcha if you're not a fan of green tea's earthiness.
• Want more protein? Add a scoop of your favorite protein powder.
• Make it tropical by adding pineapple or mango alongside the peaches.
When to Enjoy It
This smoothie is my go-to when I’m craving something sweet after a workout or need a light breakfast that still gives me energy to tackle emails and errands. It’s also a favorite weekend treat when I’m lounging on the patio with a good book and soaking up some sun. If you’ve got kids, it’s a great caffeine-light way to share a smoothie moment together—just skip the sweetener for younger palates.
